Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra pledges to donate her organs

In the presence of defense Minister Shri A K Anthony at the inaugural function of 16th Annual Conference of the Indian National Association for study of Liver (INASL), bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra pledged her organs for the service of humanity. This was organized by the Army Medical Corp. Priyanka Chopra said "I was here because the function was organised by theArmy Medical Corps and I am a child of an Army personnel". As per Priyanka, she realized the importance of organ donation when her father was ill. She also said “The number of organ donors in India is low. If one person donates, he or she can help not just one but many other people in need.” Former cricketer and Member of Parliament Navjot Singh Sidhu also pledged to donate his organs.

Among other bollywood actress Preity Zinta, Former Miss India Nikita Anand and Gul Panag and also many army officers have already pledged their organs for donation.

Apart from a good actress, Priyanka is also a very kind hearted woman. The decision what she has taken is really very impressive! Congratulation and lots of well wishes for her!
